Welcome to our website
This is the personal website of Phil and Pook Hansen and our life in Thailand.
We are starting a Vineyard church in Nakhon Si Thammarat (located in southern Thailand next to Krabi and Surat Thani). Our focus is on house churches/homegroups, and at this point we lead multiple homegroups throughout the week. Our main homegroups are composed of highschool and university students. We also have a children's church on Saturday afternoons.
Our vision is to build a community of believers who are actively being discipled and trained to 'do the stuff' that Jesus did. We want people to meet God and experience Him and His power in their lives. Over time we will raise up leaders to take over the homegroups and continue discipling others.
In addition to our church work we are also involved in our community, primarily by teaching English as volunteers.

Our sending church is Mountainbrook Community Church in San Luis Obispo, California, and we are apart of the greater Vineyard body here in South East Asia.
